Osprey Orb Review
A Review of the Osprey Orb Backpack
Weight: 1# 6oz
Size: 700 cubic inches
Dimensions: 3 x 10 x 7 in
The Osprey orb is a pretty small pack, but it seems to have all the space needed for a day pack. $59 its hard to go wrong. Several nice little pockets, such as a cellphone pocket, a hidden pocket in the front with an organizer and a key chain holding clip.
The orb Also has a padded laptop pocket in the main compartment. Multiple other pockets and nooks and crannies in the main compartment as well. The laptop compartment doubles as a bladder holder. There is a hidden passage underneath the top handle where the tube can be fed out for access.
I think what I like the most about the pack is the ventilated back and the straps. They seem to be as good as anything I have seen in that category. Although they might be pretty standard on osprey packs. I have never owned one until now. I have an awful lot of packs and somehow never got around to buying an osprey.
Well, If I didn’t already own it I would buy this pack again. Although I cannot help but feel like I have a turtle shell on my back while wearing it. 🙂 It just has that look to it. It is likely as tough as a turtle shell as well. The material is very durable feeling. Something tells me I will have this pack for a very long time. The osprey orb is a solid daypack!
